Singapur
Singapore is a city-state in Southeast Asia, located on Singapore Island and several smaller islets. Its name comes from Sanskrit and means “Lion City.” The population is predominantly Chinese, and the official languages are English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil. Highlights include Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, and Chinatown. Thanks to its equatorial climate, Singapore enjoys warm weather year-round, but the best time to visit is from February to April, when rainfall is less frequent.
