Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is located in the central-western part of the Korean Peninsula, close to the Demilitarized Zone. It's the country's largest city, home to half of South Korea's 50 million inhabitants. Seoul attracts tourists with its rich history dating back to 18 BCE.
